DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (March 11, 2025) – The arts and culture scene in the Daytona Beach area comes alive in April and May with numerous festivals and new exhibits for visitors and residents to enjoy alike.
ONE DAYTONA Art Festival
When: April 5-6
ONE DAYTONA, the shopping, entertainment and dining destination located directly across from the street from the world-renowned Daytona International Speedway, will host the Sixth Annual ONE DAYTONA Art Festival. Hosted in partnership with Gallery500, this award-winning annual fine arts festival features juried and non-juried fine craft artisans, live art exhibits, live music on Victory Circle stage, a kid's zone with hands-on craft projects, artist talks at Gallery500, Volusia County Schools student art walk and more. Admission is free.
Daytona Beach Arts Fest
When: April 12-13
The Fourth Annual Daytona Beach Arts Fest will deliver an immersive arts experience to the heart of Daytona Beach's historic Downtown and the Riverfront Esplanade. Guests will enjoy a diverse selection of artist exhibitors and masterful craftworkers, captivating live art and street art exhibits, all with a background of live music and tantalizing cuisine. In addition, there will be chalk art competition, mini murals, student art exhibit, kid's activities, and more. Admission is free.
Ormond Beach Celtic Festival
When: April 12-13
This 14th-annual festival takes place at Rockefeller Gardens and Fortunato Park along the Halifax River, adjacent to The Casements in Ormond Beach. Festival activities will include multiple music stages, a Highland Games, a Clan Village, Celtic societies from throughout the region, a kid's area and more.
First Finds – Arts Walks
When: First weekend of every month
This community celebrates the arts year-round. The First Saturday Ormond Beach Art Walk and the First Friday Art Walk in downtown Daytona Beach showcase local fine artists and galleries in scenic, historic downtowns.
Crab & Seafood Festival
When: April 26
Located in Daytona Beach's historic Midtown Neighborhood (along Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd. between Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Charles Street,) this city-sponsored family-friendly festival will feature delicious food, live music, accessory vendors and kids activities. Admission is free.
Art Imitates Life
When: Throughout the month of April
Sponsored by the Ormond Beach Arts District, "Art Imitates Life" showcases hyper-realistic, life-sized bronze statues in and around historic downtown Ormond Beach.
All 13 sculptures of people in motion are the work of world-renowned American artist, Seward Johnson (1930- 2020). Johnson's sculptures have been displayed in public spaces around the world, including New York's Times Square and Rockefeller Center, and the Venice Film Festival, and are included in numerous private collections, museums, and public art collections. Most of the sculptures on display in Ormond Beach will be drawn from his “Celebrating the Familiar” series.
Ormond Beach Art in the Park
When: May 3-4
The 51st Annual Ormond Beach Art in the Park will be held at the Rockefeller Gardens along the scenic Halifax River. It will host a great selection of fine artists and crafters showcasing their unique creations. There will be kids' craft zone, live entertainment and food vendors. Admission is free.
