(Press Release, London, UK): Monday, 10th March 2025 – At the heart of Disneyland Paris, within the iconic Disneyland Hotel, Michelin-starred chef Jean Imbert unveiled his brand-new restaurant La Forêt Secrète par Jean Imbert on Friday, 7th March 2025. A lifelong admirer of Disney stories and Disneyland Paris, Chef Imbert offers an exquisite fine dining experience in an enchanting, forest-inspired setting, where every dish is infused with magic and creativity.
"I have a very special connection with Disneyland Paris because all the magic of the films that I dream about comes to life here. My childhood memories strongly influenced this restaurant, particularly those of when I would come to the park, as well as my favourite films. I am thrilled to contribute to showcasing French gastronomy in Europe's number one tourist destination," says Jean Imbert.
Two menus are offered: a five-course menu and a three-course choice menu. For the first time in his career, the chef has also created a special menu dedicated to children.
Among the dishes on the menu, the culinary adventure can begin with "Under the Sea", a seafood starter inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios film The Little Mermaid*. This colourful dish features gently cooked langoustines, shellfish in a marinière style, a touch of caviar, and a sea jelly that will amaze guests.
Another option, "Mrs. Potts' brew" transports guests to the Beast's castle from Disney Animation's Beauty and the Beast*, with root vegetable ravioli and a vegetable and truffle broth. These creations, invented by Chef Jean Imbert and his Executive Chef Moussa Konaté, invite guests on an escape through flavours.
“Prince Ali's Tagine” a dish with sunny flavours and inspired by Disney Animation's Aladdin*, reveals a poultry ballotin stuffed with dates and dried fruits and is served with vegetables, while "Caribbean Casserole", inspired by the classic Pirates of the Caribbean films, presents a fine combination of Mediterranean red tuna, a tangy passion fruit vinaigrette, and a Colombo spice and tamarind sauce.
"Remy's ratatouille", with its tomato water and white balsamic condiment, as well as "Tony and Joe's spaghetti", slow-cooked veal, tomato veal jus, and Comté emulsion, offer a delicious immersion into the worlds of the Pixar 's Ratatouille and Disney Animation's Lady and the Tramp.
For children, the chef offers dishes such as "Fairy Godmother's Soup", a warm and comforting nod to Disney Animation's Cinderella, with pumpkin and chestnut gnocchi, "The lantern festival" is a journey into the world of Disney Animation's Tangled with its fish & chips and tartar sauce.
Finally, guests will be able to choose from an assortment of desserts, for both adults and children, created by Chef Jean Imbert in collaboration with his pastry chef Axel Michenaud. The journey continues with "Lost Ark shortbread", made with confit lemon and almond crumble, enhanced by ice cream and vanilla mousse, all drizzled with flowing caramel, inspired by the famous story of Indiana Jones.
Chocolate lovers can end their meal on a high note with the "Mickey's soufflé" made with Peruvian chocolate, hazelnut praline insert, and hazelnut ice cream. Children can enjoy desserts such as "Chip & Dale's hazelnut ice cream" with hot chocolate foam or "Little Jean's fruit salad" with a crispy biscuit and vanilla sauce.
"What I wanted to convey through the menu is this invitation to travel through their favourite experiences found at Disneyland Paris. I offer guests a journey from one story to another through food, from The Little Mermaid to Ratatouille, to Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean, always with respect for seasonal ingredients. With this menu, I hope guests will enjoy an enchanted break in an environment inspired by the legendary forests found in many Disney classics!" says the chef.
The Wine and Champagne list, curated by the in-house sommelier, showcases French winemaking expertise from various regions such as Burgundy, Alsace, and Bordeaux, while offering a selection of exceptional wines.

At La Forêt Secrète par Jean Imbert, this creativity is reflected both in the plates and the scenography, where every detail serves the immersive dining experience. The majestic Murano glass chandelier, adorned with foliage and birds, overlooks the central dining table, casting a warm light.
The hand-painted mural depicts a forest in a thousand shades of green. The serving dishes, designed by Bernardaud with botanical motifs, specially developed for the restaurant, along with a selection of silverware from Christofle, contribute to providing guests with an unforgettable experience.
La Forêt Secrète par Jean Imbert, third restaurant at Disneyland Hotel, is open to everyone by reservation, including non-visitors of Disneyland Paris, every evening from Wednesday to Sunday. Reservations at +33 1 60 30 20 50.
